The Sweden-based leading delivery experience platform has appointed Susanna Grill Erntell as the new Chief Executive Officer. Having served as Chief Operating Officer since September 2024, Susanna has overseen Ingrid's operations and will now succeed Piotr Zaleski as CEO, who will transition to the role of Chief Product and Tech Officer.
“Susanna is the ideal leader to guide Ingrid through this transformative phase,” stated Piotr Zaleski, co-founder of the company. “Her strategic mindset and strong leadership, along with her focus and integrity, are exactly what we need for scaling Ingrid internationally. Having witnessed her extensive experience firsthand, I am very happy she is taking on this role.”
Before joining Ingrid, Susanna has had a long career at Schibsted, and as CFO for Schibsted Marketplaces. She played a key role in its international growth journey, which led to the stock market listing of the international marketplace business Adevinta. Most recently, she held the position of CFO and Chief Strategy Officer for Schibsted Growth & Investments, which has, among other things, invested in Ingrid.
"I am honored to lead Ingrid into this exciting new chapter," says Susanna Grill Erntell. “Our growth trajectory, combined with our significant market share in the Nordics, underscores our strong position in the industry. I’m eager to build on that foundation and committed to delivering on our dynamic growth strategy while empowering our teams to excel."
Looking ahead
Currently, 40% of deliveries through Ingrid's platform occur in markets outside Sweden, attracting notable clients such as Paul Smith, Jo Loves, and ME+EM. Since 2015, Ingrid has processed over 180 million orders globally. One in five e-commerce purchases in Sweden – totaling over SEK 30 billion – goes through Ingrid’s platform. With clients like CDON, Apotek Hjärtat, and Nordic Nest, Ingrid is scaling internationally to shape the future of the shipping experience.
Ingrid is focusing on expanding its presence in new markets while solidifying its position in the Nordics. With strong investors backing the company, Ingrid is continuing expanding to help Dutch and UK retailers protect delivery margins and scale for long-term growth.
“Since its establishment in 2015, Ingrid has achieved impressive growth, reporting a 50% year-over-year increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and a net revenue retention (NRR) of 115%. With this strong foundation, Ingrid is well-positioned to tackle challenges for retailers both in the Nordics and in the UK and Netherlands. I am committed to focusing on efforts that guarantee Ingrid remains and further excels as an essential part of everyday e-commerce experiences for shoppers” says Susanna.
